Tour This Travel Blogger’s Colorful Global Inspired Decor

A lot of people ask me what I collect from all of my travels and I say that I collect art. I don’t buy art in every country or place that I go, but I buy it when I see it and I love it.

I always know a piece is right for me because I have this instantaneous reaction to it. Something about the piece will draw me in and speak to me on a visceral level. That’s when I know I need to buy it. My heart always beats a little faster and I get really excited envisioning a spot for it in my house. I am mostly drawn to paintings, but I also love prints and fabric work like embroidery or weavings.

My house is now full of art from around the world to the point where Sam jokes that we need to make a rotating gallery because we’ve run out of wall space. A lack of wall space isn’t going to stop me from continuing to grow my collection—I love having memories from my travels displayed around my house!

Take a tour of my colorful home featuring my favorite art and decor pieces from around the world!
