Greenheart Travel Outing on Lake Michigan

On a beautiful summer night, what could be better than watching the sunset on the lake? Watching it with a group of close friends while sipping on wine and eating Brie cheese, of course!

One of the things that I love the most about my job at Greenheart Travel is my coworkers. I’m so lucky to have a group of colleagues that I both love working with, but also hanging out with. We have such a good team energy and share friendships, so the relationships flow seamlessly. We certainly live the work hard, play hard mentality, and last night was no exception.

With my Dad’s sailboat in town for a regatta this weekend, I decided to treat my coworkers to a fun evening out on the lake. Some of them had never been on Lake Michigan before or sailed, so this was a great opportunity to do something fun and new together. We left the office and headed down to the Chicago Yacht Club to meet up with my Dad, who took us out on what can only be described as perfect night for sailing. Windy but warm and sunny, we got beautiful views of the city skyline while the sunsetted behind it. He even taught them a few things about sailing before the night was over!
