Snapshots from Lollapalooza

While I’m not much of a festival-goer, I couldn’t turn down the chance to see a former Beatle live in concert with a bunch of my friends. Last minute, I bought a ticket to Lollapalooza, Chicago’s annual music festival which draws nearly 100,000 people to the city.

I’ve been to Lolla a few times in the past, and loved it, and this Friday proved no different. We arrived at Grant Park around 3pm to start the day off seeing Father John Misty. Followed by Hot Chip and the Alabama Shakes, the beating sun made for a long afternoon. But the cherry on the top was definitely Paul McCartney. I can’t believe what an amazing performance he put on and for a full 2.5 hour set!

Here are a few of my favorite photos from a fabulous Friday night at Chicago’s very own music festival.
