Restaurant Review: Graze

Last night, I went out for dinner with an old coworker. I love catching up with her and finding out how my old stomping grounds are doing. We met up after work at a local spot called Graze. I really like the ambiance at Graze because it has floor to ceiling windows on one side. With a prime location on the capital square, you get such a nice view of the Wisconsin Capitol building. And with super high ceilings and chalkboards listing specials along the far wall, it feels airy and comfortable.

We sat down at the bar when we arrived and they were running some happy hour specials. Since I don’t really drink, I ordered a ginger beer. It was super spicy and well-balanced, just the way I like my ginger beers. Meghan ordered the Springing in the Rain. For food, I always wind up ordering the same thing when I’m there– the beet burger. Even though I’m not a vegetarian, I really like this burger. It is on a english muffin and the beet patty features ground beets, some Asian spice & onion. Then on top is bacon, cheddar cheese and mixed greens. It’s such a tasty little burger! And with a side of house cut fries, its the perfect size dinner.
