Christmas in Hawaii

Mele Kalilkimaka! Wishing everyone a merry christmas from sunny Kawaii! This is one of the first years in a long time that my family hasn’t hosted Christmas at our house. It’s quite a change!

But I am thankful that I am in this beautiful location with my family, even if I’m not with the extended family. We even brought some of the traditions with us. My mom was so cute and packed our Christmas stockings so that we would have something to open this morning! I had all of my favorite candy and fun little gifts. We spent the morning leisurely hanging around the hotel, and then I went an got a very relaxing facial. It was an sea algae facial meant to rejuvenate and brighten my skin. The spa was so comfortable and relaxing at the St. Regis hotel (find out more here). I also made use of the steam room and sauna to really waken up my body. Then we had a delicious Christmas buffet for dinner. Complete with hand rolled sushi and fresh caught fish, we were eating like kings. My favorite were the variety of fruity tropical drinks, including pineapple, mango and papaya. Yum!
